APW - Hamilton, Grade 950 with Santa Fe dial, 23J, 16S, green gold-filled OF original case, "J.J. King, Paul's Valley, Okla, Santa Fe Watch Inspector, Hamilton" marked Montgomery white enamel DS dial, time zone hands, SW-LS, fully capped lever escapement, striped pattern nickel damascene, s#1634822. An exquisite example of this extremely rare railroad marked dial. From the well-known Hamilton collection of Robert Bennett of Olivehurst, California.
CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, nearly mint cosmetic mvt condition overall, bright lustrous surface with few micro-fine scratches; nearly flawless dial with only some mild edge rub in areas under bezel; nearly mint hands; case shows very little wear, slight crease type dent toward left side of rear, dent at front portion of band at 8:30, excellent engraving detail; tight bow, crown shows little wear; clean plastic crystal.
